Connect your calendar
Connecting your calendar to Peaks is straightforward and allows you to align your daily planning with your rhythm. Here's how you can set it up.
Grant Permission
Start by allowing Peaks permission to access your calendar. We require full permissions to both read and write so that we can add and update events as your rhythm changes throughout the day. Rest assured, all processing is done on your device, and we use these permissions exclusively to manage our events.
Select an Account
The accounts available for selection are those you have linked with Apple Calendar. If you don't see the account you're looking for, you’ll need to add it to Apple Calendar first. Once added there, it will appear in Peaks for connection.
Choose a Calendar
After selecting your account, you'll need to choose which calendar Peaks should use to save events. We strongly recommend creating a dedicated calendar for Peaks to simplify future disconnections and management.
For iCloud Users: Peaks can automatically create a dedicated calendar for you.
For Other Users: You will need to manually create a new calendar in your respective calendar app (e.g., Google Calendar, Outlook). After creating it, open Apple Calendar to ensure the new calendar is synced and appears on the list. Peaks can only interact with calendars that are visible in Apple Calendar.
We offer detailed guides on how to add new calendars in Google Calendar and Outlook.
Automatic Sync
Once a calendar is selected, you’re all set. Peaks will automatically sync your rhythm to the chosen calendar. This happens in the background, seamlessly integrating your rhythm into your daily schedule.
