We (Vogelhaus Apps GmbH) run an application called Macaw and would love for you to use it. Our basic service is free, and we may offer paid subscriptions and/or one time purchases for advanced features. Macaw is designed to store data related to your spending behavior and related to your account. While we take this responsibility very seriously we cannot be responsible for you inadvertently sharing this data with unauthorized parties due to user error or similar.

Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Macaw application (“Macaw” or “Application”) operated by Vogelhaus Apps GmbH (“Vogelhaus Apps GmbH”, "us", or “we”).

Please read these Terms carefully before accessing Macaw. By accessing or using any part of Macaw you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by the terms and conditions of these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree fully to one of these then you are not authorized to access nor use Macaw.

Subscriptions

Macaw is provided through the Apple App Store and may offer additional services and features as part of paid subscriptions. The Application’s rates for such services are listed in the Application and on the App Store. We reserve the right to modify these rates at any time and/or to offer special promotions.

Free Trial

Macaw may provide a free trial for subscriptions during which you can use all features of the Application free of charge. We reserve the right to change the duration of this trial at any time or even remove it altogether. Additionally we also reserve the right to offer special promotions.

Automatic Renewal

To ensure uninterrupted service, all Macaw subscriptions are renewed automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. The account is charged for renewal within 24-hours before the end of the current period. Users can manage and cancel subscriptions in their account settings on the App Store.

One time purchases

Macaw is provided through the Apple App Store and may offer additional services and features as part of one time purchases. If you choose to purchase full access to Macaw you will gain it for lifetime. The price for such a purchase is listed in the Application or on the App Store. We reserve the right to modify the price of such one time purchases at any time and/or offer special promotions.

Cancelation

You may discontinue your subscription at any time through the App Store. You will not be entitled to a refund of unused balances if you discontinue your subscription. Additionally, you will remain responsible for payment of all charges for services provided up through the date you discontinue your subscription.

In case you made a one time purchase you can still cancel it. If you choose to do so we won't be able to refund you.

Canceling your subscription or one time purchase will deactivate your access to paid features of Macaw.

Payments

All payments behind subscriptions or one time purchases are handled and controlled by Apple and will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Please note that when your purchase a subscription, the sale is final, and we will not provide a refund. Your purchase will be subject to Apple's applicable payment policy, which also may not provide for refunds. We can not issue refunds for services as Apple reserves this ability to themselves only. Furthermore we do not send invoices to our customers as Apple reserves this ability to themselves only. You have confidential access to your account balance information through the App Store. If you have a billing dispute you must contact the App Store to seek a remedy. You can find further information about this in Apple’s Terms and Conditions. 

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, anywhere, anytime, for any reason. Such as, but not limited to: using the Application for unintended purposes, using and unreasonable amount of resources, or abuse of the terms and conditions as defined in these Terms.

Disclaimer

You should not enter or add bank details or other sensible financial data in the Application that could be used to inflict harm on you. Especially but not limited to Spaces shared with others. We will never require nor ask for your banking information.

We are not a financial advisor

Computers can make mistakes and some data in the Application might not be accurate, therefore you should not use any information provided by the Application to base your financial decisions on. Please refer to your own judgment as we won't take any responsibility for your financial decisions.

Changes to these Terms

We reserve the right to change the content of these Terms for any reason ant at any time. Whenever we update these Terms of Service you will be asked to read through them again when opening Macaw the next time.
